Director Nora as she is fondly called by her colleagues in the Central Office was appointed as Director III by then TESDA Director General / Sec. Atty. Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong on September 26, 2018 at the Office of the Director General, TESDA Central Office, South Superhighway, Taguig City. She was immediately designated as Assistant Executive Director at the National Institute for Technical Education and Skills Development by Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña, PhD., CSEE who assumed his office as the new Director General of the agency succeeding Sec. Mamondiong. Pursuant to TESDA Order No. 294, s. 2019 with Subject “Reporting Arrangement for the Trainers Training Development Division (TTDD)/National TVET Trainers Academy (NTTA), Dr. Noralaine Rogong Rasul has been designated as Director-in-Charge of TTDD/NTTA stationed in Marikina City. She will be reporting directly to Deputy Director General for Policies and Planning Rosanna A. Urdaneta. After she succeed in her mission given to her by the Secretary to elevate the status of NTTA who shut-off from the limelight and make it vibrant, which she eventually made it possible. Because of the trust of the Director General to her leadership, he tasked her to lead the delegations of other TESDA employees for the Building Information Modelling held at Singapore on September 26-30, 2019. During the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the LGU of Marikina and TESDA, Sec. Sid Lapeña lauded her for the transformation of NTTA facilities and the non-stop skills training programs she was able to run in her time including among others the Trainers Methodology Level I Crash Course for TESDA Provincial Directors, and the Supervisory Development Course for TESDA Supervisors. November 8, 2019, TESDA Order No. 803-A, s. 2019 was issued reassigning and re-designating TESDA Officials which includes Director Noralaine Rogong Rasul who lead the TTDD/NTTA for 8 months was designated as the new Provincial Director of TESDA Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office. In her short stint at the PO, because of her passion and dedication to provide massive skills training program, she was able to tapped and reached-out the Former Rebels, Drug Surrenderees, IPs, and even the Prisoners to undergo skills training. 7 Months thereafter, TESDA Order No. 242, s. 2020 was issued on the “Reassignment/Designation of TESDA Directors and Personnel” which includes Dr. Noralaine Rogong Rasul to head the Provincial Office of TESDA Lanao del Norte that comprises more than 100 Technical Vocational Institutions including those TVIs from the Province of Lanao del Sur whose training funds are dependent on the budgets allocated by TESDA-10 Regional Office.
