Conduct Community-Based Training to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)
Enhancing life skills and reformation works side by side as TESDA Lanao del Norte conducted skills training to persons deprived of liberties on October 17-18, 2023 at the BJMP facility in Tipanoy in Iligan City.

A two days community skills training in sewing and pajama making were made to the inmates. 10 female inmates and 15 male inmates. At the end of the two days they have a pajama that they could use in the facility.

PD Acas had a talk with City Jail Warden JCINP Carlo Obrique and he expressed his thanks to the various TESDA institutions to include RTC Iligan who were giving reformation activity through skills trainings to their jail inmates. PD Acas emphasized that PDLs were our special clients and that what we are doing is giving hope to our inmates in making them feel that there is a government that loves and cares for them.

Before parting PD Acas told Sir Obrique that TESDA Lanao del Norte – Provincial Office will be inking a MOA soon to institutionalise further the partnerships and more skills training will be accorded to the inmates.

This is the core of TESDA. Making access to life skills which is valuable to the reformation of our inmates showing clearly that sa TESDA Lingap ay Maasahan at sa TESDA Lanao del Norte tayo ay magseserbisyo ng tama.
