The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) convened its 15th Annual NICP Summit together with a series of ICT conferences from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao last November 8-9, 2023 at Cheradel Suites, Iligan City.
The summit’s theme, “Fostering synergy through MAGIC (Making Academe, Government, and Industry Collaborate) for sustainable innovation in Advancing Digital Innovation, Enhancing Digital Governance, and Empowering the Digital Workforce,” is indicative of dedication to catalyzing innovation and cooperation.
The said summit was attended by DDG Aniceto Bertiz III, Deputy Director General TESD Operations, RD Dan Navarro, Regional Director TESDAX, represented by PD Norayah A. Acas, JD., Provincial Director, PO-Lanao del Norte, City Mayor of Iligan Hon. Frederick Siao, and heads from different agencies.
Meanwhile, DDG Bertiz extended his deep appreciation and gratitude to NICP as the participants had the opportunity to interact with speakers from different agencies and learn from their wealth of expertise. He also mentioned that this summit served as a platform for collaboration and networking among attendees and esteemed speakers. Likewise, PD Acas presented and discussed the overview of TESDA, and ICT qualifications. She also shared her knowledge and expertise regarding the National Government Agency Collaboration specifically in Lanao del Norte.
Furthermore, attendees gained valuable insights and practical knowledge from the diverse perspectives shared by the speakers.
