TESDA-Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Norayah A. Acas, JD., together with her Supervising TESD Specialist Ms. Faisalia M. Bato paid a courtesy call to Governor Imelda Anging Q. Dimaporo last October 13, 2023.
Recognizing the vital role of the provincial office of Lanao del Norte in the delivery of the mandates of TESDA in the delivery of skills training, the meeting was a success.
Various collaborative efforts between the two office were initially discussed with the commitment of TESDA Lanao del Norte in all the activities of the provincial capitol particularly in the provision of skills trainings.
In its desire to bring TESDA to the barangay level, initial talks were made on how to strengthen the Community Training and Employment Coordinators of the different municipalities of the province.
Talks were also made to enhance access to the certification system of the industry workers of the province under the Competency Assessment for Certified Workers or CACAW.
Gov. Anging Dimaporo on her part promised her support to TESDA Lanao del Norte. She mentioned that her family has always been supportive to TESdA and the then NMYC as it was through her father the late former Governor Arsenio Quibranza that donated the more than 10 hectares lot of RTC-Iligan.
